Passive House know-how for everyday Perth homes

For the last six years I've worked as a site-based Passive House consultant on certified Passive House projects here in Perth. I work closely with every contractor and oversee day-to-day implementation, benchmarking and quality control.

Certification is a rigorous process. It means collating the paperwork and photographs needed for certification and working with design teams to resolve issues on site. Most importantly, it means solving them before we get to site: detailing junctions to avoid durability problems, reducing thermal bridges and running early-stage energy modelling, with feedback from every stakeholder along the way.

The role is a hybrid of site supervisor, building project manager and Passive House clerk of works.

Over the past few years I've also been providing building consultation for homeowners and builders who want to build better. GoEco W.A. brings that experience to existing homes too, through testing, advice and upgrades that make homes healthier, drier and more comfortable.
