2. Scope of our inspections and testing
Our audits and tests are non-invasive and limited to areas that are safe and reasonably accessible on the day. Unless agreed in writing, they:
- are not a pre-purchase building inspection, structural, pest, termite, asbestos, electrical, plumbing or gas safety inspection;
- do not include laboratory mould sampling, medical testing or mould remediation;
- do not involve opening walls, ceilings or floors, moving heavy furniture or accessing unsafe roof spaces.
Moisture meter, thermal imaging, humidity and airtightness readings show conditions at the time of testing. They are indicators and can change with weather, season and how the home is used. Hidden moisture or defects may exist that cannot be detected without invasive investigation.
3. Reports and recommendations
Reports are prepared for the client named on the booking and for the property inspected. They contain our professional recommendations based on what we observed and the information you provided. You should not rely on them for a different property or purpose, and you should obtain any required approvals and use appropriately licensed trades for recommended works.
4. Prices and quotes
Prices on this website are in Australian dollars and include GST. "Follow Our Process" services are quoted after reviewing your plans and, where needed, a paid site inspection. Any install cost indication is an estimate only; the final written quotation sets the price and scope of works.
5. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights. Subject to those rights and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or our guides.
6. Licensing
GoEco W.A. services are provided by a registered Western Australian Building Practitioner (BP103722) and Building Contractor (BC103317).
7. Guides and website content
Our guides, text and images are owned by GoEco W.A. You are welcome to download and share them for personal, non-commercial use with credit to GoEco W.A., but please do not sell or republish them. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
